The coolness of the color lends to calm, more focused meditations. They are soothing to the soul. Works with the Crown Chakra point.( Some legends or folklore have it said that placing an amethyst in your wine goblet will keep you from getting drunk. Another tidbit...placing small amethysts in a cat's water dish will help keep kitty from getting fleas.) |

| Aquamarine |
 The gem quality version of this stone is blue to green translucent, however, the non-gem quality variety may be more opaque with a bit more of a color range, including variations of the blue-green, even a beige/yellow green/blue.
Aquamarines range in color from a light blue to a blue-green, most often pastel. Gemmy aquamarines have a distinct clarity about them while the lesser grades are a bit more opaque or semi-transluscent. (The lesser grades are just as powerful as the clearer grades...just more affordable.) They are said to aid in cleansing, serenity, peace, prophecy, inspiration & strength. They are generally considered a feminine stone due to their association with water. They are also said to aid is safe travel on water and to assist one in seeing through deceptions. Works with the Heart to Throat Chakra points.

This little known but relatively common stone is a mottled apple green.

| Carnelian |
 This is a variety of Chalcedony which, in turn, is a form of Agate. It is a very highly evolved mineral healer. It is said to energize the blood; aid the kidneys, lungs, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, and tissue regeneration. Also said to vitalize the physical/ emotional/ mental bodies while aligning the physical and etheric bodies: enhances attunement with the inner self; facilitates concentration; and opens the heart. This is a warm, social and joyous stone working with the root and the sacral chakras. This is also said to help with self-esteem, fears, angers, hidden emotions and sexual problems. It is often carried as a talisman stone. |

This crystal is a beautiful, translucent pale blue.

| Chrysocolla |
Balances the heart center to bring stability and emotional awareness. It focuses universal love energies into healing. It is a great peaceful and calming stone with its blue to blue-green coloring. Great for those working with computers as well as a good feminine stone, working with the voice, throat, ears and third eye. This particular stone is often found with Malachite and will have the additional properties of helping with the lung conditions (asthma and bronchial conditions) while helping to neutralize the effects of tobacco smoking.

| Chrysoprase |
This stone is normally a medium, opaque green, though it can be a pale light green to greenish yellow sometimes with darker design lines. It can be classified as Lemon or Mint Chrysoprase, depending on the color.

This is often a golden orange or even golden brown to orange to light yellow with some clear to white quartz.

| Clear Quartz |
Clear Quartz is one of the best all around stones/crystals for any healing/energy work. It may be 'programmed' via meditation to due whatever may be required of it. It corresponds most closely with the Crown to Etheric Chakra points but works with any of the points. Quartz is said to be able to draw energy as well as to send it; works extremely well during meditations; fosters wisdom, transformation and is a link to ones higher consciousness.

This is sometimes called a Jasper. It has black spots on light grey to beige Quartzsite, looking exactly as the name implies…like a Dalmatian dog.
